Direction le soleil de la Floride à Miami pour ce 6e épisode. On aborde d’abord le contexte socio-culturel de la ville pour expliquer comment est le genre de musique qui nous intéresse, la Miami Bass. On insiste ensuite particulièrement sur ce drôle de personnage qu’est Uncle Luke, leader du 2 Live Crew, et qui sera le porte étendard de cette mouvance. La Miami Bass a également donné naissance à une branche purement électro, qu’on nomme plus généralement Bass Music. À la fin de l’émission, on revient sur l’influence que ce sous-genre a pu avoir dans l’histoire du rap à plus grande échelle, surtout dans toute la scène sudiste.
