Pour cet épisode tant attendu de rentrée, retour à Atlanta où nous nous attaquons à un gros morceau : la genèse de la trap, genre ultra dominateur depuis une dizaine d’années sur la scène rap US. Nous abordons d’abord les deux duos légendaires que sont Outkast et UGK, qui vont participer à ce qu’on appelle le Dirty South, constituant une certaine unité et identité des rappeurs du sud. Nous verrons en fin d’émission comment T.I., dans ce contexte et avec ces influences, a créé le monstre appelé trap, son album Trap Muzik constituant l’acte de naissance officiel du mouvement.
